"Jesus son of Mary" & "Oh children of Israel"
Background
It is a common tradition that a person inherits his identity from his father, in other words a person get named after his parent from whom he will inherit his nationality and religion. For instance we have "children of Israel", "children of Ibrahim", "children of Adam" and not Eve ... etc.So for someone to be from a certain nation, his father must be from it, hence the children of a Pakistani man married to an Indian woman are Pakistanis.
Point.1
Based on that fact we notice that whenever a nation or a person get referred to in Quran the father name is used, except for Jesus[PBUH] as he is always referred to by "Son of Mary" since he was born miraculously and has no father.
Point.2
Quran mentioned two conversations between both Moses[PBUH] and Jesus[PBUH] with children of Israel, they were successive yet they had different form as Moses[PBUH] approached them by "Oh my nation" while Jesus[PBUH] and unlike Moses[PBUH] approached them with "Oh Children of Israel" since he can't be one of their nation since he had no father. So in reality Moses[PBUH] is saying "Oh my nation -because my father is from you-" while Jesus[PBUH] wouldn't be able to say so.
Side Note
Mother identity in the Jewish community:
Recently the Jewish community adopted the idea of ethnicity of mother, and since that Moses[PBUH] left Egypt and went to Madian which is an Arab city and from where he married, then it means that all Moses heirs are Arabs too which is what they can't accept and will need to revert to the ethnicity of father rule.
The story of Jesus[PBUH] miraculous birth
Quran explicitly supports the idea of Jesus[PBUH] miraculous birth by illustrating the whole story
